This event was organised to answer the question of whether there is more to learn from international experience to further the governance agenda in India and the consideration of international and national evidence for better governance and service delivery. \nObjective \nThe goal of the event was to discuss the use of evidence in the area of governance in India and the role of global research organizations in evidence generation in support of policy debates and decisions in India. The discussion also included identifying cross-cutting research priorities\, critical gaps\, avenues for collaboration and the experience of government agencies and research organizations in collaborating on addressing evidence gaps.
