Evidence for Development: South Asia 2021

Background
Campbell South Asia and the Global Development Network with support from the CGIAR GENDER Platform conducted this conference. It was attended by 168 participants across a range of organizations from South Asia.
Objective
The objective of this conference was to promote conversations on the use of high-quality evidence to ensure that policy is driven by evidence and reasoning, and research is translated into action. The conference focused on improving the understanding of how evidence can support policies for transformation in the South Asian region and the need for forging partnerships with governments for evidence-informed decision making.
