Varsha has a background in Political Science, having completed her bachelor’s from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, master’s from Jawaharlal Nehru University and MPhil from University of Hyderabad.
Prior to Joining Campbell South Asia in May 2023, Varsha was a Research Associate at the Centre for Law and Policy Research in Bangalore. Here, she was part of the constitutional culture team that oversaw a wide range of projects on Indian Constitutional law and history. In 2017 she was awarded a Sahapedia-UNESCO Research fellowship to develop a multimedia module documenting the Vacanas of Akkamahadevi.
Her academic interests lie at the intersections of religion, culture, law and politics. She also enjoys a wide range of creative practices with experience in dance, theatre production and writing.
