Nina Ashley Dela Cruz has over ten years of research experience spanning public health, poverty, international trade, urbanization, education, and finance. She has worked as a consultant for the Asian Development Bank and the World Health Organization Regional Office for the Western Pacific, and previously served as an analyst at the Philippine Institute for Development Studies, the Philippine government’s leading policy think tank. Her interdisciplinary background has shaped her research interests in development economics, political economy, and public health.
Nina is currently pursuing her PhD at the Center for Evidence-based Social Science at Lanzhou University, where she specializes in evidence synthesis. Her work focuses on the development of evidence and gap maps, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses, with the aim of strengthening evidence-informed decision-making in low- and middle-income countries. She holds a master’s degree in Applied Economics and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from De La Salle University.
