Ashima is a sociologist by academic training and has a Master’s degree from Jamia Milia Islamia University, New Delhi.
Prior to joining Campbell, she was a part of the programme team at the International initiative for impact evaluation (3ie) assisting in the monitoring and management of grant windows. Before joining 3ie, she was a Communications Officer at Indian secretariat for The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM).
She has interned with the World Health Organisation, undertaking research on ‘Gender Analysis of Early Marriage and Adolescent Pregnancy in the South-East Asia Region’.
