Neha Gupta holds a doctorate in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Delhi and was awarded the University Grants Commission (UGC) Senior Research Fellowship. With over 10 years of experience, she specializes in community-based food environment research, as well as demographic, development, and environmental surveillance. Previously, she has worked with the United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP), the Centre for Chronic Disease Control (CCDC), and The INCLEN Trust International (INCLEN).
Her research interests include nutrition epidemiology, food environment, surveillance, child health, data analytics, and non-communicable diseases. Neha is trained in systematic reviews at WHO/Cornell/Cochrane summer institute and has coordinated around 10 research projects with various institutions including ICMR, DST, DBT-BIRAC, FAO, WFP, WHO, UNICEF, IFAD, McGill University, and medical colleges.
