Campbell South Asia Webinar Series

This webinar series aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among its participants, enhancing the practice and application of evidence synthesis in policy-making. By bringing together leading experts for in-depth discussions, the series aspires to drive the evolution of evidence synthesis methodologies, improving research quality and impact across various fields. It serves as a platform for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to share best practices, innovative approaches, and tackle challenges within the realm of evidence synthesis.

Objectives:

• To delve into and debate advanced evidence synthesis methodologies, knowledge brokering, interdisciplinary collaborations, and capacity enhancement.

• To broaden the reach of CSA by leveraging the webinar series and forming partnerships with organizations possessing convening power over diverse audiences.

Participants:

Targeted at researchers, professionals, policymakers, practitioners, and students, this series is ideal for anyone engaged in evidence synthesis across healthcare, social sciences, and public policy sectors.

Content:

The webinars will address various pivotal aspects of evidence synthesis, including:

Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses: Examining the progression and obstacles in executing comprehensive systematic reviews.

Qualitative Evidence Synthesis: Debating the techniques for amalgamating findings from qualitative studies.

Network Meta-Analysis: Showcasing sophisticated statistical methods for integrating evidence across multiple sources.

Technology in Evidence Synthesis: Assessing the impact of technology and automation in refining the evidence synthesis process.

Knowledge Brokering: Exploring innovative methods to facilitate evidence usage in decision-making processes.

Format:
Scheduled on a monthly basis, each 75-minute webinar will incorporate presentations, discussions, and interactive elements:

Practical Sessions: Hands-on training focusing on evidence synthesis practices, including effective search strategies, spanning approximately 50 minutes with each presentation lasting about 20 minutes.

Q&A Sessions: A dedicated 10-minute segment for attendees to pose questions and engage directly with speakers.

Join the Movement: Our webinar series is free and open to anyone interested in evidence-based policy making, including researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and students. We value the diversity of voices and perspectives in our discussions.
