Protocol workshop
June 22, 2021 – June 24, 2021
Background
This workshop on Evidence and Gap Maps (EGM) presented the scientific principles, methods, analysis, and reporting standards that guide the process of conducting EGMs in the social sciences. The group was introduced to the process of registering protocols, finalizing EGM reports with Campbell Collaboration, conducting and generating EGM using EPPI-reviewer 4 and working in groups on the titles as chosen by the groups and as registered/submitted with Campbell Collaboration.
Objective
The objective of the workshop was to teach how to draft EGM protocol, reporting standards and guidelines for evidence mapping, understanding the uses and misuses of research synthesis and search strategies for different types of maps and registering protocols, and conducting EGMs with the Campbell Collaboration.
