Sahithya Novel is an emerging Research and Policy Consultant with experience supporting evidence generation, project implementation, and stakeholder engagement across development-sector initiatives. She is pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy and Sustainable Development at the TERI School of Advanced Studies and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Presidency College, University of Madras. This multidisciplinary training strengthens her analytical approach and ability to navigate complex policy environments.
At Campbell South Asia (CSA), Sahithya contributed to research projects by providing technical and data-oriented support. Her work included data entry, coding, table generation, and maintaining structured Excel-based tracking systems to ensure accuracy and reliability of research outputs. She also supported the preparation of grant proposals and contributed to drafting project documents, ensuring clear articulation of objectives and methodologies. In this role, she facilitated communication flows within the team and with external partners, compiled datasets, and produced timely progress reports to inform project decisions.
Previously, during her internship with GIZ, Sahithya gained practical exposure to sustainability, recruitment, and employment-related initiatives, enhancing her understanding of cross-sector development challenges.
