Dr. Mansi Wadhwa conducts research in the areas of labor economics, gender economics, human capital development, and evidence-based policymaking. She employs advanced econometric techniques and quantitative methods, with specialization in using experimental and quasi-experimental research designs to identify causal impacts of policies. Her recent work includes examining the labour market impacts of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, studying impacts of job training programs, and evaluating policies that influence women’s labour force participation. Her work spans several geographies and contexts. Her work on evidence use and research clearinghouses is aimed at strengthening the research to policy pipeline. Dr. Wadhwa has conducted post-doctoral research at Ashoka University and University of Utah. She holds a PhD in Public Policy from George Washington University, Washington DC. She also holds a Master’s in Public Policy (MPP) from the Hertie School, Berlin and a Bachelors in Arts (Hons) from the University of Delhi.
