Dr Sabina holds a PhD in Public Health from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She is a trained information professional, social anthropologist, and a public health scholar, with publications in peer-reviewed journals and edited books.

As Director Research, she leads and advises the team members on various research activities at CSA and supports Director General in activities pertaining to growth and sustainability of CSA. Some of her other roles include liaising with the review commissioning teams towards completion of various projects and dissemination of synthesis findings during Campbell webinars and other events such as conferences and workshops.

Dr. Singh has led multiple annual updates of evidence and gap maps on interventions for homeless populations, HIV prevention among adolescent girls and young women, women’s empowerment in developing countries, and life skills interventions. She is also currently working on a systematic review of gender transformative approaches in agriculture.

She has previously worked as Evidence Synthesis Specialist, Assistant Professor, Research Associate, and Independent Consultant.  Her research interests include gender, poverty, and migration; gender and agriculture; women, work and health; and qualitative research methods.
